Installation Instructions

 
Insert the disc in your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive.

 
If auto-run is enabled

1.      Click on Install POS Software and follow the directions

2.      2nd L Support is optional.

3.      If no setup dialog box appears. See instructions below.

 

 
If auto-run is disabled

1.      Click the Start Button.

2.      Click on Run or go to Windows Explorer

3.      Enter D:\Setup\Setup.exe or E:\

 

 

For win98 user:

After software has been installed, enter your password “1133” and you will see Msg “Class not registered looking for object with CLSID” please install the file COM98.exe and DCM98CFG.exe from your CD-Rom “D:” or use your office XP CD to upgrade your windows.

 

Getting Started Start > Programs > A+ Restaurant Sys, > Bill POS 4

You can make a Create Shortcut of Bill POS 4 put it in StartUp from the submenu. Every time you start up your PC, BillPOS 4 program will start running automatically.

 

File Name is Company name.mdb in your C:\Program File\Bill POS 4

Main Screen

 

Enter New Reservation:

Click on Reservations to enter new customer or return customer information and reservation date.

 

 

Select check in and check out date fist by click on the calendar, and click Next

 

  

Select a vacant room. All green color rooms are vacant.

 

 

Enter all the require information for your customer.  You can search customer information by Last name and Firs Name, or address and also by phone number too.  Click Save to complete the reservation. Program will get you back to Main Screen.

If guest’s information already in your data. By click on  search button to recall that guest information or computer will tell you this guest not found. (There are few ways to search guest information, you can search by Last Name First Name, Address, phone number or credit card number.)

 Click onsave button to save all the information. Now you finish the reservation step and software will go back to Main Screen.  You have to click on Check In again.  The Room now will be in Red. Click it again for payment.

 

 

 

Check In Your Customer:

Click on Check In button

 

 

Find your customer’s last name and click on that room. All the reserved room will be in red color, and customer’s last name will show on bottom.

 

Enter identification information and click Chk In/ Update button. Program will return to Main screen.

To delete some charge: Yon can select which charge you want delete by using your mouse clicking on that item. Once you deleted an item, it’ll no longer displays in the guest check. Click Chk In/ Update to update the information.

 

 

 

Reservation Search: (add/edit reservation)

Click Reservation Search button

 

 

You can search customer’s reservation information by Last name and Firs Name, or address and also by phone number to recall the information for update.  

 

 

Check Out:

 

 

Check out customers: when customer need to be check out and the room color will turn white. Click on the room.

 

Click on Tender Recall button for balance. And click Check Out button to check out this customer.

 

 

 

 

 - Back Office

1. Employees(Employee’s ID is the Password)Back Office>Customer / Employee

The Employee report lists employee information such as name, address and social security number, Hired day, Hourly Rate, Level, Position.  This report is useful if you want to verify your employees’ information for W2s,

 

  Four digits only. Delete employee.

 

 
You can add new/edit existing employee information, (Very important for you to setup the access Level and Type.)

Text Box:

Level 1:          Employees

Level 2:          Managers.

Level 3:          Owners -Allowed full feature access.

 

Customer Listing (Quick Steps for Adding a Customer or Prospect)

You can view or enter basic information about your client and prospects on the customer list.

            From Back Office > Customer Employee > Customer List

The information for your customers is divided into these columns

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Menus Edit  (Quick Steps for Adding are menu items)

1.-Menu From Setting menu, select Menus

 

 

 

 


Each Item could enter up to 6 Options in here and 4 different unit Prices.

To replace an exiting data just simply type the new information over the current information.

 

2.  -Add/Edit Menu (Easier way to edit your menu)

Remember: You must click on Save for    Add/Edit on each record.

Add New Item: Click on  Add New Item button type in new item in description and so on.  Press Save

Delete Item: Select item and press Del

 

 
  

 

How to add pictures:

Select an item by click on that Item than it will turn red and select a picture from the Picture Source.

Deleted Picture:

Select a button by click on it and click on Del Pic.

Reports

-Sales Report  (Back Office > Reports)

Reports – Allows you to queue a list of reports for printing or viewing, you can also create and edit the format for reports form, and financial statements in MS Excel.

You can optionally sort this report by days between to view all the transactions invoices total amount information on this window or Employees ID: columns will view only that employee’s sales record.

Yon can change any of those data field in the window, if necessary.

 

 

          -Check Out Guest List (Back Office > Chk Out Guest)

You can optionally sort the check out guest list by days between, and change any data in those data field in the window, if necessary.

Export all the data you see on this window to MS Excel for other use.

 
             

 

        -Reservation List (Back Office > Reservation)

You can optionally sort the Reservation List by days between, to view all the new or old guest reservations, and change any data in those data field in the window, if necessary.

Export all the data you see on this window to MS Excel for other use.

 
           

           

            -Expense (Back Office > Expense)

 

 
           

           

            -Time Sheets (Back Office > Time Sheets)

Yon can optionally sort the Time Sheets by days between and Employees ID and software will calculating you employees total work hours and wage for you.

 
                 

 

            -Income Statement (Back Office > Income Statement)

You can select list of payments by clicking on life of the window, and enter all your purchase payment or expenses. 

 

 
           

 

 

Settings

-Networking: Back Office > Settings > Networking

Single: All the files from local Disk C:\

 

File Sharing: Source files from another computer.

Enter the name of the computer you want the source files from C\\Server Name\.

 

After you enter your server name and you the data location in the text boxes, you have to click on File Sharing button tell computer to search for the data in the server.

 

-Printer Settings: Back Office > Settings > Printer Settings

Printer Port:

A connection point on your PC where you can connect your printer for data to pass from a computer.

 

Type: Name of the printer.

Where: What data will go through this printer.

 

 

 
           

 

 

 

-Add/Edit Rooms: Back Office > Settings > Add/Edit Rooms

32 Rooms/Cottages Max on each floor with total 7 floors/Areas.

Add/Edit: You can add or remove rooms / cottage to fit your need by add/delete text from text box.

 

 

-Screen Settings: Back Office > Settings > Screen Settings

Use Paint program in your Window OS (Start >All Programs > Accessories) to create your own pictures for your business in password screen

(Two default Pictures are Company Name.bmp and Company Logo.bmp in local disk C:\Program Files\Bill POS 4\ )

 

 

 

-Information: Settings > Information or click F5

-Reset: Settings > Reset or Click F11

 

Fresh: Remove Training Order data.

 

Click Training Check to save data into training use.

 

Click Business Check to save data into real business uses.
