Cougar Mountain Software Support is a privately-held company based in Boise, Idaho that markets accounting software, retail software, not-for-profit and business software to small to mid-sized companies. They are a Microsoft Certified Partner and work with other third-party companies such as Aatrix, Applianz, Business Objects, DonorPerfect, GiveX, and Seagull Scientific to provide customers with a mid-cost range accounting software.
History
Founded by Bob Gossett back in 1982, the company celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2007. The company’s first accounting product was introduced as a DOS application, and is still being used by businesses today.
They were the pioneers of network accounting for the personal computer.
The company's first Windows product, CMS Professional, was introduced in 2000. In 2006, Cougar Mountain Software introduced Denali, which is based on Microsoft SQL Server technology.
Products/Modules
Each accounting module is fully integrated with all others, and can be assembled in any combination to fit the needs of the business. The general accounting package comes with core modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Order Entry, Data Exchange and a Report Writer. Modules that can be added on include: Bank Reconciliation, Payroll, Purchase Order, Point of Sale, Job Costing and much more:
