Cougar Mountain General Ledger

General Ledger functions as the module for retaining information about transactions entered from throughout the entire Cougar Mountain program. Financial reports that are critical to the management of every business are generated from within the General Ledger module. Created in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), one can print income statements and balance sheets in various formats, plus a statement of cash flows.
Reports
Detailed journal entries are created in a single window. This feature allows for a simplified journal entry process and saves time because all portions of the transaction can be seen on one screen.
New account numbers are created in a single screen. This feature allows for a simplified and time saving process.
The Statement of Cash Flows, written in accordance with FASB 95, summarizes cash flow activities. One can utilize this report to assess a business' financial performance and evaluate its sources and uses of cash
The Audit Trail Report provides detailed information about transactions that have been posted to the general ledger. This information can be used to validate the accuracy of any posted transaction.
The Comparative Profit and Loss Statement report displays ratios based upon total sales revenue. This report format is useful for performing a period comparison analysis of individual account classifications .
The Comparative Balance Sheet Report displays current year and prior year's information. This report format enables you to analyze the business' financial condition over time.
The Set Up Report Layout feature provides the flexibility for customizing the balance sheet, income statement, and budget reports.
