Order Entry Universal Bridge will save time and money by eliminating
double entry of all your transactions no matter what
software you use! With the new Universal Bridge, you
may import transactions from external data files into
Cougar Mountains Accounts Receivable prior to posting.
When posting OE transactions, system displays a list
of OE Invoices that have not yet been printed. This
prompt feature allows you to decide whether to print
unprinted items prior to posting. Add, refund and view multiple customer deposits on
a work order. Line numbers have been added to the Transaction Grid
in the Order Entry screen allowing you to easily make
corrections in orders with many detailed lines. Set up what payments you want to allow on a per customer
basis and avoid bad debts and streamline clerk training
and sales entry. On the AR customer record, you may
indicate which payment method(s) will be acceptable
from that customer. Only those methods will be active
during OE transaction entry. You can set up how many different copies you want
to print for each type of OE transaction, and to which
printers(s). This will allow you to specify, for example,
one copy of each transaction to go to a back office
printer, and one to go to the printer at the cash
register, reducing clerk error by having this set
up by a supervisor. Don't wait until the end of the day to review that
day's transactions! Print your edit reports throughout
the day by specifying a time/date range on your transactions
before your sales clerks have left for the day. New OE invoice format which groups and subtotal items
by inventory versus Non-Inventory! Especially valuable
for businesses that sell both inventory and service
items. When entering an OE transaction, clerk will be able
to lookup the different price levels available, and
select which one to use. Same as the Sales by Salesperson report, but only
shows those sales that are already paid by the customer.
This is helpful to determine commission payments,
especially if commissions are paid only on paid sales,
not gross sales. Clearer, more accurate Holds, Quotes and Work Orders.
When Retrieving a Work Order or Quote, Allow Clerk
to Maintain Transaction Type - A checkbox in Module
Preferences allows you to select whether the system
will maintain the transaction form it current form
until you change it to invoice. If you typically make
several changes or Quotes to Work Orders before changing
them to Invoices and closing them out, this will streamline
your data process by eliminating the need to change
the type back to Quote or Work Order before saving
the transaction. You can set it up so it won't automatically
change an Invoice to a transaction. Transactions can be entered on one single screen
from start to finish for quick sales entry. Complete Back Order tracking capability. Easily handles refundable and nonrefundable deposits.
You can have multiple Ship-To addresses per customer.
Customizable Sales Entry screen allows you to collect
only the information you need and in the format you
want. Run daily sales reports for up-to-the-minute tracking,
including Cash/Charge receipt, Sales Tax, Salesperson,
Profit, and Department Report. Maintain detailed Sales History information, including
gross profit per invoice. Add/change-on-the-fly inventory stock items and customers
during sales entry. Put an order on hold, or create a quote for a customer,
and then convert it to a live order with the click
of a button. Fully supports serialized inventory. Sales Tax tables can handle multi-tiered sales taxes
for complicated local and state sales taxes. Easily
update the sales tax changes yourself. Easily track sales by salesperson. Ability to address several different pricing levels
as well as discounting by item or entire invoice.
