It also plays an important role when integrated with the Inventory and Accounts Receivable modules-with this arrangement owners or managers can set pricing, create promotional pricing on specific items, and allow clerks to see up-to-the-second inventory levels at the register or customer information.

There is also the ability to sell/accept Gift Cards and Layaways and provide alternative payment options in addition to traditional payment methods.
